Today, a Western Meadowhawk decided we should hang out. The dragonfly eagerly rested on my fingers for over an hour.

After spending some time together and a few glamor shots, I did a little research. Many dragonflies are skittish. But, these are known to be friendly. Their preferences are to perch and survey their hunting grounds. As masters of hunting, they have a 95% success rate.
