The Seminoe Difference

Previous Work As A Metalsmith

Lacey earned several years of experience as a Metalsmith, prior to the permanent jewelry boom. She began her metalsmithing career in 2017, working for a handmade jewelry supply company in Indiana. In just a few months, her high productivity and low rate of error led her to working from a dedicated studio at home.

After moving back to Wyoming to be close to family during the onset of Covid, Lacey continued filling orders remotely. For this company, she handmade over 150,000 pieces for jewelers worldwide in just over 4 years. Equal experience is rare for those offering permanent jewelry services.

Wyoming’s First Permanent Jewelry Company

Already owning a micro welder and possessing the knowledge necessary to lead permanent jewelry services in the state, made becoming Wyoming’s first permanent jewelry company an exciting decision for Lacey. She is the only artist in the state of Wyoming offering the service, whose full-time focus is on her own jewelry line. Her expertise and high end selections show, as she has even given permanent jewelry services to country artist Brittany Warthan, who is married to Randall King.

As a local Metalsmith and jewelry business owner, all of her charms & connectors are handmade in house and always have been. Offering the service allows her to further share her love for jewelry with an in-person, custom fit experience for her customers.

Sunstone Micro Tig Welders

Seminoe uses Orion micro tig welders made by Sunstone Welding in the USA. They are the most trustworthy brand, being the safest and most reliable machines used in the permanent jewelry industry and beyond. While welding, Lacey uses Sunstone’s illuminated microscope to clearly view the process to ensure a quality fusion.

Argon Use

Argon is an odorless, non flammable, inert gas found naturally present in the atmosphere. It is commonly used as an ingredient in fire extinguishers. Sunstone’s top of the line micro welders are designed to be used with Argon. The cleanest, most professional weld is achieved by stabilizing the welding arc, while preventing brittle welds that are prone to cracking.
