A male ‘Parnassius smintheus’ wing was used for these 14k GF Rocky Mountain Parnassian Butterfly Earrings. They are members of the swallowtail family. These butterflies live in high elevations of the Rocky Mountains of the United States and Canada. The specimen was purchased from a sustainable butterfly & insects supplier to be used in this piece.
