Dragonfly Wing Mountains Necklace

While fishing at Seminoe Reservoir, I pulled a dragonfly out of the water in hopes of saving him from drowning. Hours into my fishing day it was clear that he was not going to make it. I took him home and set him next to the roots of my orchid plant. After a relocation, his wings had not held up well and it was decided to immortalize what was left him and create this pendant. His damaged wing was pressed into Sterling Silver to create this 100% natural impression. The severe damage on this particular wing left an impression that immediately had me dreaming about mountain peaks, so I picked up my jewelers saw and rolled with it.
